My journey with Covid in Kenya. From my trip to go work on our projects to check on all of our work, build houses, and conduct women’s economic empowerment conferences. I started feeling sick and ended up with Covid in a place that was out of hospital beds and supplies. I was so sick my body and mind was on the verge of stopping and letting go.

I talk about how my near death experience changed my life and the decisions that came out of that experience will affect my mission and projects the rest of my life.
The road to full recovery is a long one, but every day I make a little more progress and I have been released to fly back to the U.S. the first part of May. I can’t thank everyone enough for their prayers, love, and support. Without this, a team of brilliant, dedicated doctors and health care providers, and the intervention of God, I surely wouldn’t have made it.
People say having a near death experience changes you and this is certainly true in my case. I realize on a whole new level how precious life is and how important it is to make the most of everyday to love, serve, and enjoy others. Most importantly, whether in life or death, to love and glorify God with all our hearts, soul, mind, and strength.
